After the first Earthly sweater I made was a bit too short after blocking, I knit two more, making them 4” longer (Earthly 2 and Earthly 3) preblocking, 3.5” longer after blocking.
The pattern (by Erika Knight, for Rowan) was well written and easy to follow, though I found two mistakes:
Right front neckline, Row 16:
Next row: K2, P1, K1, P1, sl 1, K1, psso, K13 (not 23), K2tog (these are the 2 ladder sts) K to end.
Right sleeve Row 59: (Inc in first st) 0: 0: 1: 1: 0 times, K to last 40: 41: 42: 43: 44 sts, inc in marked (ladder) st and mark these 2 sts, K to last 0: 0: 1: 1: 0 st, (inc in last st) 0: 0: 1: 1: 0 times. 64: 66: 68: 70: 70 sts.
Work 11 rows, inc 1: 0: 0: 0: 1 at at each end of 8th: 0: 0: 0: 4th of these rows. 66: 66: 68: 70: 72 sts.
Pretty happy with these sweaters, keeping the short one for myself, Hiro gets the longer gray one, and Yoshio gets the longer blue one.
